The Game Development with Python Workshop will give Educators an inside look at the PyGame 2D Engine. The python language and pygame engine serve as an easy intro to computer science and the rewarding process of game creation. You will dive deep into game logic and the underlying logic driving user experience. If you want a more engaging and fun way to teach programming principles, then you need to be at this Game Development with Python Workshop.

  • Creating basic structures for 2D games
  • Start your first game
  • Types, fields, and basic Python structures
  • Building first game
  • Loops and structures within game
  • Creating basic assets for game animation
  • List and collections in asset management

  • Finishing and customizing first game
  • Reviewing and finishing up first game
  • Enhancing game experience and using it to teach functional and OO programming
  • Integrating game controllers
  • Demo game
