We mourn the passing of Adam Mack on January 9th, 2022.
Adam Mack (1974 – 2022) was a dedicated man to his mission to educate and infuse a passion for learning in all those he taught.
Adam was a teacher and mentor “extraordinaire”.
He taught at W.R. Thomas Middle School as their Engineering and Robotics teacher. As a facilitator for the Code.org workshops organized by the Academy of Computer Science Education, he also mentored his fellow-teachers. He helped organize many robotics competitions, AI training workshops, and many education and technology related events.
He was a man of boundless energy and he will be missed deeply.
Adam was a Trekkie at heart. May our friend and teacher, Adam, rest in peace, and enjoy his adventures in a galaxy far, far away.
